DESCRIPTION:Watch the mayor proclaim May as Bike Month! \nKeep an eye on the City of Wichita’s Youtube for a recording of the event! \nhttps://www.youtube.com/@CityofWichita455 \nAttending the event in person is also a possibility!  If choosing to go in person\, you are encouraged to arrive before 8:45 to allow for security scanning.  There is metered parking to the south of City Hall\, or there is a gated lot with payment due at the time of departure. (take coin and/or cash just in case)  See additional information below. \nDetails \nWhere:  City Hall\, Chambers\, 455 N. Main St.\, 1st floor  \nParking:  We have recently changed our parking system. When you approach the automated entry gate\, push a button on the new unmanned automated ticket booth to receive a ticket. Park in the Open-Air lot just southwest of the building and be sure to bring your parking ticket inside for validation. (map is attached)  \nArrive:  8:45 a.m. (Allow time for security – please check in at the City Council Office) \nCity Hall – 455 N. Main \nCity Hall is located on the southwest corner of Central and Main.  Between the streets of 3rd&Central and Main & Waco. \nMeeting \nThe meeting starts promptly at 9:00 a.m. with an opening and approval of minutes. When the Mayor announces your proclamation\, please proceed to the podium. Mayor will then read it and offer you to say a few words. You are welcome to bring anyone you would like up with you. Feel free to exit the boardroom after you proclamation is read\, although you are more than welcome to stay for the entire meeting. If you have any questions or concerns\, please let me know. We look forward to seeing you..  Please plan to be here at least 30 minutes\, from about 8:45 a.m. till 9:15 a.m.   \n
